If you didn't guess number 2, tips'study is probably too late to rescue you. You probably still believe the old fable that people who know most about the topic pass exams.

My teachers asked me some very suspicious questions when I learned the first technique because they thought there must be some new way of cheating. That boosted my confidence so much that I prepared to crush the examiner in every exam. When the exams came around I was confident and eager for battle. It was almost an anticlimax when the pass marks started to roll in. I knew beforehand that I would pass them all.
Studying on selected topics is still necessary, but my book shows you how to select the topics and how to get the biggest bang for your buck. Just one example - I was taking physics, chemistry and biology exams and the subject of osmosis came up almost every year. I studied everything in the library about osmosis, learning facts that the teachers didn't know, and the question came up in all three exams.
Your studying at school or college should not be a case of reading everything that the lecturers advise you to read. If you are told to study "War and Peace" my book will show you an easier way that will get you better results in the exams.
OK, if the teacher found out he would label you a study cheat, but my favorite tips'study is to concentrate studying on about a quarter of the topics in your course. That means you can become an expert in these few topics, and dazzle the examiner with your knowledge of facts he has never come across.

IQ tests |
My advice is not to cheat on IQ tests because if you get into a stream of students with IQs that are 20 points higher than your own, you will feel very inferior. At least you will until my school practice tests advice puts you ahead of the geniuses.
You see IQ tests need multiple choice techniques. Guess what - there is a whole chapter in my book about how to beat multiple choice tests.

Do people lord it over you because you are stupid? What if you could improve your results in IQ tests by becoming more clever?
Have you heard the myth that an iq test shows the intelligence that you were born with, and that is the intelligence you are stuck with? Well, the good news is that you can raise your apparent intelligence with an attitude breakthrough, and it often happens with an exceptionally good teacher. Getting that "aha!" moment is the problem.
Faulty IQ Tests Design
You get a series of questions that you must answer in the time available to you. There are some plausible answers, and you must tick the right answer. That means that you can expect quite an accurate assessment test for your child trying to get into high school...if your child isn't more clever than the person setting the test. Then you can be marked wrong, when it is really the test answers that are wrong.
Wrong Approach To Assessment Tests
Even in this supposedly basic test you can perform better if you know the exam rules.
Suppose you have a genius who is distracted by some of the sillier alternatives. While he is thinking about what a good story he can make of it to his friends, the time has come to turn the page, and he hasn't answered the other 99 questions on the page.
Suppose you have someone who is terrified of exams, and his brain just refuses to work properly on the day? I suggest you look for free iq tests on the internet and practice taking them. You really can make some stupid mistakes when you are nervous. I once calculated that three times one equals one, in a University physics exam. Fortunately I still passed.
My Experience of the 11 plus intelligence test
(decides which high school you will attend in England).
You can imagine the cruel glee with which I saw the iq testing results for my brother and I when we moved to England. I was good enough for a proper school, while he was only good enough to join the deadbeats at the secondary modern school.
Well, my glee was short-lived. His teacher demanded a re-test, because my brother was a genius. Sure enough, he was soon transferred to the same school that I attended. I think that you need to get results of 130 to get to the better high schools, so he had got less than 130 in his first test. But later he joined Mensa with a score in the high 150s. That's not a trivial failure. The assessment really bombed out!
Improving Your IQ
Stupid people have a very poor self-image. Perhaps you think that it's only fair that the idiots should have a poor self image. Well, it's a good thing that Einstein never took the tests. He had such a poor understanding of general knowledge that he had to get the child next door to buy his shopping, in exchange for him doing her mathematics homework.
Different experts have taken supposedly stupid children and taught them how to do something that their peers can't do. For instance
Do a long division faster than you can type it into the calculator.
Remember which cards in a pack have already been dealt out
Speed read at a few seconds per page
Learn a language and talk it fluently in three months (or learn two at the same time)
It doesn't seem to matter what has suddenly opened the brain of the children. Once they realize that they can show off their superiority, they seem to look round for other things that they can do. And guess what...their iq test results go up!

School practice tests |
These are easier to handle than practice college exams - simply because the final school exams are archived for many years back. You can study past questions, and if a question comes up ten years running, you had better study that question. However when you want to practice college exams, you can usually find past exams in the library, but the lecturers/examiners keep changing. So if the same question came up for the last 20 years and you have a new examiner this year, you don't have anything to go on.
Secrets of How To Beat The Examiner
I'm an expert at passing exams because I chose to practice exam techniques until I could apply them in my sleep. It didn't really matter what subject I was taking. It was my special expertise at passing exams that got me through.
I was sick of seeing my English test results placing me at the bottom of the class. Then I discovered the first secrets, when I was fifteen years old. I wrote an essay that night and next day it moved me from the bottom of the class to the top. From then on I stayed in the top three in a class of forty pupils.
Is It Difficult?
How could it be, if I picked up the secrets from a few minutes reading, and immediately started performing like the expert that I am? You'll need to read my book to find out all the secrets, but I'll tell you the first one. Your teacher is human.
Obey The Rules But Bend Them
If you don't even know the rules, how can you bend them? How can you spot the loopholes? I passed one exam paper (my wife brought it home) that I knew nothing about. I just knew the rules. I wrote elsewhere about how I kicked a goal into the wrong side when I was forced to play football. I didn't even know enough rules to kick the ball the right way.
Exams are a game with very much higher stakes than that stupid game of football. For instance, one of my classmates was dragged crying and screaming and pleading from his final exams because he was cheating. He broke the rules and was blacklisted, so he couldn't take any more exams. I bent the rules in the same exam, and told enough lies to get myself very high pass marks.
Teachers Are Human
One of our teachers got extra pocket money from marking the final exams for about six hundred examinees. Did I mention to you that examiners are human? Right. How do you think he felt with midnight approaching, the night before he had to hand in his marked papers, reading the five hundred and ninety seventh essay saying the same things in different words?
Wouldn't it be a good idea to waken him up so that he can see well enough to mark your efforts, which just happen to be in the five hundred and ninety eighth paper? Even if you give him nightmares, he will be grateful for being woken up. My English teacher wrote on my paper - Excellent, if somewhat cynical. - The cynical bit was how I had made him sit up and take notice, and I can still remember the thrill of pouring on the cynicism in wholesale quantities, just to entertain him and myself.
